Beacons focus on serving young people that would otherwise not have access to high quality afterschool opportunities.

84% of Beacons participants are low income.


91% of Beacons participants are youth of color.


Languages spoken in Beacons Centers: Spanish, English, Somali, Oromo, Hmong, Ojibwe, and American Sign Language.

Beacon Centers provide young people a place to grow through challenging activities, caring relationships, and leadership experiences.
